Rock ‘n’ roll was born in the 1950’s and Memphis A New Musical takes place in the seedy nightclubs, radio stations and studios in the musical inspired Tennesse City, USA.
One fateful night DJ Huey Calhoun and up-and-coming black singer Felicia Farrell meet each other on Beale Street. This is the beginning of a dangerous affair. Now the question is if their personal ambitions and the outside world’s pressure will keep their relationship strong.
